Traditional Slope Awnings with Flexible Valance

Visit our Photo Album for more examples of awnings and entry canopies.

Welded frame awnings are more common on commercial buildings.

However, they look great on homes as well.

Welded frame awnings can be just about any size or style.

The three most common styles are:

"Traditional or Sloped"

"Convex"

"Dome"

Sloped Awning
with Solid Valance
Each awning style can be finished with a solid valance (also call a border), a flexible valance, or no valance at all.

Slope Awning with Flexible Scallop Cut Valance

A flexible valance can have a scallop cut or straight hem that can flutter in the breeze for that soft "old fashion" look.

Convex Awning
with No Valance
Welded frame awnings are generally made from 1" square or 1" round 18 gauge galvanized steel with painted welds.  The frames may be full painted for added beauty.

Dome Awning
with Solid Valance
Many awning fabrics are available.

Flame retardant awning fabrics are also available and may be required in some commercial applications.
